Default Need loving home with yard for my pit mix

Given that she got him at 5 weeks of age, Beethoven may not do well with
other dogs.... Sad but true.... Puppies taken from the litter and mom
that early have not had time to imprint completely as dogs. This
happens somewhere in the 7-9 week age, when they also start
housetraining mom-style and learn how hard it is acceptible to bite
another dog/puppy in play.... and other lessons. Sometimes this works
out if that too-young pup goes into a home with an older dog that
"adopts" it and provides the education.

I agree that large dogs can do just fine in apartments if they get
enough exercise a couple of times a day. But I'm guesing that this
apartment may not allow big dogs, if they allow dogs at all. In some
places very few apartments and rental houses permit dogs at all.

My advice would be to advertise locally, and to identify a no-kill
shelter or rescue group locally and place the dog with them. Most are
very good at putting a dog into the right home, and their choices are
very wide.... usually even better than advertising.
