I believe that a cross between a Golden Retriever & a Setter is recognized as a breed
in it's own rights. Does anyone know what it is called & where I might find photos ---TIA

I belive you are mistaken. Neither the CKC, the AKC, nor the KC
recognize such a mix as a breed.

Why don't you tell us what you're looking for in a dog, and we can point
you to some real breeds that might meet your requirements?

I don't believe. But Flat-coated Retriever looks a little like it was a
cross between Golden Retriever and a Setter although it isn't - perhaps you
are thinking of them?
