Why would my dog allow my puppy to dominate him?
okay i have a Labrador/Retriever which is 4 years old we got him at the pound and he has been mine since little before September of this year. we got my son's puppy which is a shepard one after him. so the puppy has a lot more energy than my dog but what puppy doesn't. so they get along and there all ways playing. The large dog "Steve" doesn't allow the other dog ever to over dominate him, until today. my son's puppy "Dunkin" was um how can i put this over dominating Steve face, and he just let him. he was just letting him over and over again. Steve has done this to Dunkin many times and never had a problem. Dunkin also falls submissive to Steve, Dunkin is afraid of other dogs, and noises. he is constantly hiding behind Steve for protection. so why would Steve allow Dunkin to do this?
i'm very confused "where is the Dog Whisper when you need him" lol! but really all advise is good shed some light on the subject, please. _________________ http://www.dogarthritisnomore.com Last edited by dylanalexander55 : July 31st 12 at 10:52 PM. |
