abandoned pups
"Michelle" wrote in message om... I am not sure if this is the right place to post but maybe someone has some ideas I am in N.M. and was seriously considering taking in these 2 adorable pups you can see them at www.carmaanimals.org Josie and Morrie, they are in great need of socialization and are pitx, I just found out that due to a family emergency I will have to return to OR for what could be an extensive period I have not lived in NM very long and do not know many ppl here so if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate hearing them thanks in advance. Michelle my only idea is that they NOT suggest the dogs are adopted out together. two female pit bulls living together is a recipe for trouble. -kelly |

I am also having a tough time with the decision to take them because it is already a difficult thing finding a home for a big dog but 2 big dogs pitx (and I do not go for the just call it a terrier mix). I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a pit rescue that does mixes I think these pups need someone who with knowledge of this breed. The woman I am in contact with about the dogs has 7 of her own plus 5 or 6 foster dogs and 2 of them are full pit and they get along so as she put it she disagrees with my "theory" of seperating due to same sex... If you are going to have to be out of state for an extended period and
can't take these unsocialized pups (or single pup), then don't obligate yourself where they are concerned. There will be, unfortunately, other dogs that need homes once you return. Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia |
