My West Highland terrier vomits up what's usually a clear fluid about
3-5 times per
week. Is it time to cut out the occasional treats of cooked meat we
give him and
keep him on a strict diet of dog food like Iams or Eukanuba? Or could
he have
a more serious problem?

............Hard to say. I'd cut out the treats and see if it does any good.
If it doesn't time to get to the vet.
