Default staffordshire bull ?

Hi folks,

after many years of dog absence in my life this last week i purchased my
first Staffy in 11 years.

I bought a girl dog at 8 weeks old and shes lovely. A brindle with a white
collar and white paws. I know this note may sound mundane and dull but what
was rather marvellous was the following. I picked her from the litter
because of her enthusiasm and not her size. I wouldnt say it in her presence
but she was what may be termed " the runt".Her brothers and sisters were a
size bigger, it was the vigour in her walk and bounce that sold me.

Here is the remarkable part, it turns out in her pedigree that she is a
cousin and descendant of the first Stafford in my family whom i met when i
was 7yrs old. The collar must have been the indicator subconciously i guess.

Anyways sorry if i sound a bit over enthusiastic but this dog i adore

cheers all

Tim
