Default Leba-3 Removed Plaque on Border Collie's Teeth?

That's right. That's one of the things my vet said. That doing a half
assed
job of getting off the plaque was worse than not doing it at all. But
that's for bad plaque that has gone next to or under the gumline.

Removing *any hard* tartar can cause gum injury, even if you are only
attending to exposed placque on the tooth surface. It's kind of like
scraping old paint off woodwork - you always nick the beautiful molding
you're trying to save. Then your spouse yells at you - tells you that you
shouldn't be doing his job - you pout - and next thing you know, you've
washed yourself of the whole ordeal and are sipping cocktails while watching
him do it!

*But*, the Leba-3 is supposed to soften the plaque making it *real*
easy to remove.

As long as you use something soft and gentle to do this. Not abrasive or
sharp (like your fingernail or very hard toothbrush).
