Default jelly type mass on the solorplexis(the top of the rib cage)

My 6yold cockapoo has a jelly like mass on his chest. When my dog lays
on his back to let me scratch his belly I have noticed where his ribs
meet at the center of his chest a jelly like mass. Any one have any idea
what it is.
It doesn't seem to be getting any bigger but I just don't like the looks
or the feel of it.
HELP

Faced with the same thing on one of my dogs, I'd make like a
rocket to the vet. Like, immediately.

..............Off to the vet with you. Before you go make a few notes on how
long since you've noticed it.. Think back and consider if your dog had a
fall, got into a tussle with another dog, or anything else that could have
caused damage.
Here's an article on lumps and bumps.
