Default How come my test message made it but...

....the two posts I have submitted have not made it to the list?

Is someone deleting my posts?

a) this is not a "list", it's a newsgroup.
b) this newsgroup is unmediated, so it's extremely unlikely that someone is
deleting your posts.
c) check with your news service provider to find out why your posts may have
been delayed or not posted.

good luck...

Have you included attachments with your other posts?

No attachments, but perhaps a " ' " ' "rude" ' " ' " word (appropriate for
the discussion though). Would the word "dump" or "****" (written out as
"s h I t") in the subject line trigger some sort of censorship? Don't tell
me that the charter for this newsgroup would be so prudish?

Not trying to offend, I simply had a question related to doggie bowel
movement.

Was I censored????

this newsgroup is not moderated. IOW, there's no one here to censor you.
was your post in HTML?

either way, you're posting fine now, why not repost the question?

As several other people have pointed out, this is an UNmoderated USENET
group (NOT a list), and therefore no way for anyone to be "deleting your
posts".

Again, not possible, because this is an unmoderated USENET group. The only
things that will prevent your posts from getting to the group are problems
with your server*, or if you post in a format that servers* don't accept.
USENET is a TEXT ONLY medium (unless the group has .binary in the name), so
if you post in .rtf or .html, or attach files to your posts, many servers*
don't accept the posts.
I see that you're posting via Yahoo rather than using real newsreading
software, so perhaps the post that didn't make it was in an incorrect
format.

* Just in case you're a newbie and don't understand the term "server", it
refers to the computer systems that transmit and store USENET. :-)

That's not true, strictly speaking (just ask Diddy).
Because the posting/cancellation process is unauthenticated
(or at least the content is unauthenticated) it's easy for
someone to forge a cancellation of someone else's Usenet
post.

However, the likelihood of it having happened in this case
is vanishingly small.
