Default ~Dog repellant question

I live out in the rural area of Virginia and I have a new neighbor who
owns at least 5 dogs. They have a strong tendency to come over to my
yard and leave behind their dog droppings. Is there some kind of way
to repell these dogs from my yard??

The most likely to be effective is the "scarecrow" motion activated
sprinkler. e.g. www.biconet.com/critter/sprinkler.html do a search for
different suppliers.
