Recently I lost my best friend and companion Buddy. He was a mixed
breed I found shivering in the rain 12 years ago. He was just a puppy
and he was so skinny his ribs were showing. My wife nursed him back to
health and he became one of the family. He was invaluable to me after
I lost my wife to cancer. Buddy developed a tumor a while back and I
had to make the hard decision to end his suffering. This is a tribute
to a true friend and companion, the best I could ask for. Please pray
for him.

We're atheists, Bill, we don't pray. However, most of us know the
agony of losing beloved companions, and sympathise deeply with you for
your loss of Buddy. I lost a Sheltie in 1994 that I'm *still*
grieving for.

Why would you grieve? According to atheist, Sheltie is just worm food
now.
So why would an atheist care about it at all?
You think you are going to be worm food too right? Think about
it...Why even live, if all you are is worm food?

So you think asking educated people to think at your dog will some how
help?

It's obvious that Dino doesn't know the meaning of the word 'grieve.'
Of course, what Dino doesn't know could fill a library.

alt.support.boy-lovers newsgroup snipped because no one is interested
in the OP's vile proclivities. alt.abortion snipped as irrelevant.

She already answered.

Love isn't a logical act, it just -is-.

He is just worm food. According to atheist, we are all just going
to end up
being worm food. So why love at all?

Love feels good.

And, the loss of the object of love hurts.

One would think you've not noticed that.

Perhaps you've never experienced love or loss of something you loved?

Who cares about worm food or
potential worm food?

She does, obviously.

She likely misses the joy that her sheltie brought into her life, and
finds the void left by his absence difficult to fill.

You're not too bright, are you, rightard?

Now, I've a few questions for you.

Why do theists cling to life, rightard?

They claim they believe they've a heavenly paradise waiting for them
just on the other side of the thin line between life and death.

The Bible says "Thou shall not kill", not "Thou shall not die".

If one has an eternal life, basking in the glory of God, waiting for
them, then why concern one's self with earthly things, like fighting
off muggers, worrying whether Iran will nuke Israel and spending money
on national defense?

All meaningless trifles when compared to an eternal life.

Shouldn't a theist live their life longing to die, so they can
experience the bliss they claim they believe is waiting for them?

Why... One might think theists don't really believe in an eternal
life at all.

Heh heh...

Lying racist rightard socialists...

Batshit crazy and dogshit stupid, every single last one of you.

The fact that his body is complete decomposed at

There is no "clinging" to life.
We live, we die, after death...it's unknown.
There is no clinging.

If you knew and understood the bible, which you clearly don't, you
would know
how we are suppose to live our life on earth.
