Walking problems, Instability...will not urinate. Immediate help please.
Subject: Walking problems, Instability...will not urinate. Immediate help
please. From: "TechnoJock" Date: 7/3/03 8:07 PM Pacific When I laid him on the examination table at the vet's, he urinated on the table top... does this confirm there is no blockage? I would certainly think so. I have not had this problem with a dog but with a cat who had been hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis and subsequent bladder-nerve damage. The problem did heal itself. If your dog has a back problem severe enough the nerves controlling the bladder could be affected. Have they done a complete workup at the vet's for a spinal problem? Plain xrays do not always show a problem with the vertebrae. Have they suggested a myelogram? Deb Shi the Elder Georgie the Kid-Snarker |
