My dog is seven years old and lately she wont use her right rear leg
when walking, I took her to vet and he is suspecting torn ligament inside the knee. Would anyone know what the treatment would be and if it is possible to heal it completly.???? |

The only fix for a torn ligament is surgery. It will not heal on it's own.

What ever you do go to a specialist who knows what he is doing. My dog had
the same problem & my own normal vet operated & messed it up, It is now 14 months after surgery & my dog has severe arthritis in the joint & still can't use the leg properly. wrote in message oups.com... One of my dogs has had both ACLs repaired in the past 7 months and is doing great. It is only 2 months since the second leg had to be repaired and he almost never limps and would like to be more active than can be allowed yet. Beth oups.com...
