So, did we do OK? Or should I be watching for some other symptom? I'm
comfy with his performance today, but what the hell do I know?

Thanks for listening,

Kiba seemed to do great, especially for his first time. I think eventually
he will fall into a routine. Gracie usually falls asleep on our bed while
we are gone, while often times we observe Merlin watching for us from his
favorite upstairs window. He can see far up and down the road from that
window.

Gracie had severe separation anxiety when I first got her. Just as you did
this time, I began leaving her uncrated for short periods of time, gradually
increasing the time. When I got her I was warned 'she could destroy a house
in less than 10 minutes if left uncrated. She apparently tore down every
blind on the windows of one of her foster homes. After that she was
relegated to 'outside' fosters only. By doing as you are, short trips, low
key leaving and returning, she never was a problem and now we can leave her
all day without incident.

Loved the video! Hope you will post more. Best of luck,

td
