Is this so ?? depends (lol) on what you mean by "done". while there may be nothing to change the incontinence, there may be a number of ways to live with it. a very personal choice. -- Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...bedience/album |

I know that in some cases, incontinence in females can be treated with PPA (phenylpropanolamine), I'm not sure if the physiology of the male means that it wouldn't be as effective? You may want to check with another vet. Has his drinking increased? Is it possible the incontinence is a symptom of something else higher up in the system? Tirya |

He has had his urine tested for infections and sugar, and is clear. He has also completed a course of antibiotics just in case. Only seems to wet early evening, even when sent outside first before settling down. Has been on 1mg prednisolone, alternate days, for years for allergy. Think this could be the problem ?? |

Pred, in all forms, causes thirst/more water consumption and increased urination. -- Janet B www.bestfriendsdogobedience.com http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bestfr...bedience/album |
