Default Yeeha! A small step, but significant.

I've been working with Angel ever since I got her (3 months on the 18th)
to get her do "drop" (down) on command - for some reason, she just
wasn't getting it. Well, she just did! Several times in a row! And
the last couple of times was with just the hand signal!!! She already
has "come" and "sit" down pat. Now all we have to do is get "stay" and
we're more than ready to start agility.

WAY cool! Don't you just love those Hellen Keller moments?

Now all we have to do is get "stay" and
we're more than ready to start agility.

Just as a point of note... I've found it useful, agility-wise, to
differentiate between "stay" - used when I'm walking a course and need the
dog to settle down and chill out on the sidelines - and "wait" -used at the
startline when I want the dog ready to explode into action. YMMV. ;-)

Congratulations! Isn't it inspirational when you see the light
bulb go on over their heads?

You're always ready for agility, grasshopper, even when you
think you aren't.
