wot does it all mean...
.... my 18 month toy [teenager] dog sometimes places both of his front paws
on my foot while he's standing and I'm sitting down. I move my foot or say "off" and he does. Is this a sign of dominance? Why would this be a dominance thing? What do I need to do? Or am I reading it into too much. TIA |

Rocky is far from dominant (to me, anyway), but he's a klutz. Of course, he could be telling me that my shoes are too clean (when I'm wearing shoes) or that his nails are too long (when I'm not wearing shoes). -- --Matt. Rocky's a Dog. |

Or just wanting to touch you. Every time Madigan rides in the car with me, she has to have one foot on my leg. Has to. The car won't start unless Maddie's nails are gouging my thigh. If I'm sitting on the couch with her, same thing. She isn't happy unless she's touching me.
