it's really not a good idea to post to a rescue newsgroup, stating that
you are willing to patronize what would undoubtedly be an irresponsible
breeder. in fact, it's downright tacky.

Shelly - if you are going to take the time out to comment, why not educate
and make a difference instead of criticize?

rec.pets.dogs.rescue attracts many people who are involved with
dog rescue. We work at placing dogs who are in need of homes,
typically because of irresponsible guardians and breeders.

Saying you're interested in getting a dog from an irresponsible
breeder here is, well, it's insensitive at least - a little like
spanking your kid during a child abuse forum. Sure, it's not
illegal but you'd be a fool to expect no one to be hurt enough
to say something about it.

i *do* love the smell of fresh, piping hot irony in the

i don't. i criticize others because i think they've behaved
in a manner that invites critique. specifically, this is a
dog *rescue* forum. posting--in this forum--your intentions
to obtain a dog from an irresponsible breeder is thoughtless,
unkind, and rude.
