Default Advantix and Mood Change

We have a 7 month old golden retreiver pup and when we give him his
monthly Advantix for flea and tick, for a good 24 hours, his mood
completely changes ... wants to be by himself, hides under tables,
chairs, etc. Basically, he becomes a completely different "person."
Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Thanks.

My poodle Maui had a bad reaction to a flea treatment once so I never used
that brand again (don't remember which is was though). I use Frontline Plus
now and there are no problems. Maybe your dog is having a bad reaction to
the Advantix?

.............do you have tick problems? If not, just use Advantage.
Advantix has permethrin IIRC. Some dogs do react to it.
