Lab or Golden?
Hi,
I am looking to adopt a young-adult dog of at least three years of age. I'm told that Labs are high energy and need lots of stimulation well into adult hood. Any thoughts on this? I really like both of these breeds, Labs and Golden Retrievers, but wonder if the Goldens tend to mellow out more so than the Labs.... Suggestions, please! Thanks! |

I've seen enough variation in this generalisation, though, to not rely upon it. Since you're going to adopt a dog in the 3 year old range, I think that the maturity level should be apparent - trust the opinion of the shelter or the rescue group on this. -- --Matt.
