Help with Chihuahua and Sleep Smothering
I recently adopted a 7 year old Chihuahua. She is simply the best dog
ever, but I am concerned that if I give her her way at night she might smother to death. Every night when she hops in bed with me, she wants to crawl as far and deep under the covers as she can. I am very cold natured and sleep with many heavy covers, so I fear she won't be able to breath or find her way out. Do I have cause to be concerned? Thanks |

I have a small female chihuahua, eight months old , who always gets
buried in the covers at night or whenever. She will end up between my wife and I because that is where she likes to be ! She has been doing this since she was given to me on my 80th birthday .She was 7 wks old, weighing in at 9oz.(8/7/05) |

Help with Chihuahua and Sleep Smothering
I would be more concerned with rolling over on the dog and breaking bones.
