Default Dog Permits in FL? How many can you legally have?

Hi,

Does anyone know how many dogs you can own without a permit in Florida?

And then also, does anyone know where I can find information on how to
obtain a permit, learn about ordinances etc?
I plan to buy a home soon so that I can have a big yard and hopefully
foster and rescue a few dogs. I just want to make sure that I do
everything correctly and leally. I dont wanna chance having any of the
pups taken away.
Any info would be helpful. Thank you!!

Dog limitations tend to go by county or city/municipality, not state.

Check into the city ordinances in areas you're interested in.
Townships often don't have limits.
