police dogs attacks last week
This one is local.
http://jconline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...plate=printart I saw that dog in a demonstration at Wolf Park last month. I was impressed that the dog attacked before commanded and did not release on command. It reinforced my decision to stick to therapy dogs. I especially appreciated the quote "It's extremely, extremely rare for that to happen." Apparently his thumb and arm had healed so well from the previous times the dog attacked him that he'd forgotten the incidents. It's also not the first time that a Belgian Malinois police dog was shot after attacking a police officer. http://www.geocities.com/ericsquire/...s/at051018.htm I wish the police would get some nice Labs or something to handle the tracking and leave humans to attack each other. ....and on a *somewhat* lighter note...any dog can be dangerous with the right weapon. http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/art...dent13-ON.html --kyler |
