Default need help with dog walking

Hi,

I'm no expert but perhaps you could try walking him in his own
surroundings first before the street. The street can be noisy and
destracting. Try the backyard and inside the house so he gets familiar
with the lead. Some people say to leave the lead on the dog for a
while to get used to it before you take the dog for a walk.

What I do with my dog (who loves to walk me!) is stop every time he
starts to pull me forward and reward him for good behaviour.

I'm sure some experts in this field will post here soon.

Good luck,
Lisa

NO PROBLEMO.

Yeah, but that AIN'T gonna heelp {): ~ (

The street can be noisy and destracting.

THIS IS A FORUM FOR EXPERIENCED AND INEXPERIENCED AND I NEVER PROFESSED
TO BE AN EXPERT, JUST SPREADING WHAT I THOUGHT MIGHT ASSIST SOMEONE IN
NEED.

Then all the better as a trainin environment.
You see, when there's EXXXTRANEHOWES
activity the brain necessarily engages more
attention therefore INCREASES the ability
to think, rationalize an solve problems.

LikeWIZE, when the behaviors are LEARNED
they'll not NEED "proofin" as the so called
"EXXXPERTS" are always talkin abHOWET.

Try the backyard

NO. The dogs backard is his FREE AREA.

Workin the dog in his yard often makes them resentful.

and inside the house so he gets familiar with the lead.

It wouldn't hurt to handle him anywhere anytime on lead,
so long as he ain't "trainin" in the dog's FREE AREA.

I SEE, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT JERRY! AN INTERESTING CONCEPT. ILL KEEP IT IN
MIND.

Some people say to leave the lead on the dog for a
while to get used to it before you take the dog for a walk.

Some people say to jerk an choke the dog on pronged
spiked pinch choke collars an shock them {): ~ (

What I do with my dog (who loves to walk me!)

Oh? You mean you got the same problem?

is stop every time he starts to pull me forward
and reward him for good behaviour.

Oh? You musta got that from dr. ian dunbar's "make
like a tree' method of trainin the heel {): ~ )

NO, I DO HAVE A SIMILAR PROBLEM BUT NOT SO EXTREME AND I AM TAKING MY
DOG TO A DOG TRAINING CLUB.
