Moving to Australia with my dog questions

1. I'm a US citizen and moving soon to Australia. My Wheaton will be
quarantined for how long, if at all?
2. Are there any Australian diseases or situations I should be aware of
with regard to the dog?
3. Any other newsgroups or websites related to this subject?

Also, you may be interested in the "aus.pets" group.
No specific diseases I can think of. Don't know where you're moving to but
fleas are quite bad in my area of Sydney.
