Default Lameness in lab

Monte, my 12 year old female black lab was taking Rymadil due to a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy for an ACL tear back in 2003. The Rymadil worked wonders and we kept her on a very low dose to help with her arthritis. This summer her liver enzymes shot up and our vet immediatley stopped the Rymadil. Since being taking off Rymadil in July 2006 all of her liver enzymes returned to normal.

About 2 months ago she began experiencing the following symptoms:
lameness in front right leg, stumbling is both hind legs, reluctance to walk (at times), falling down (ocassionally), heavy breathing, and increased water consumption.

She has been seen by our primary vet and a veterinary orthopedic specialist. What we have determined is that she has arthritis and mild degenerative joint disease and her left adrenal gland is slightly enlarged. She has not responed to prednisone or deramaxx. She has been tested for thryoid problems and cushing disease and both were normal.

My thoughts is that this problem may be neurological due to the fact that both prednisone and a non steroidal drug have not produced any improvement.

Any advice?
