Default I NEED HELP FOR MY YORKIE! - Scribbles.jpg (0/1)

Dear list,

I am a new subscriber and have subscribed to ask for assistance. I
have a 2 year 8 month old Yorkshire Terrier and she is my world. Over
the past few days, she has been hurting something awful and I fear
that she is afflicted with Legg-Perthes. I have an appointment with
her Veterinarian on Monday to look at her hips, which I think is the
cause of her pain. I feel so very bad for her for I can not afford to
pay for her to go through surgery to alleviate the pain.

I've come here to ask for financial assistance if indeed she has
something going on in her tiny body that will require surgery to take
her pain away. Please, I beg you for the donations necessary to make
my sweet baby better.

Please, if you can help me or you think you might be able to help me
in any way, shape or form, please email me at your earliest
convenience. I will keep you updated with the diagnosis.

Sincerely,
Melissa

I looked at the picture you posted. Based on my vast years of experience I
can tell that your dog is perfectly healthy. I am forwarding the original
posting to the attorneys general of all 50 nstates, alerting them to the
scam you are trying to pull. Expect a visit from the authorities on Tuesday
morning. Be prepared to show the records from your vet, including x rays.

Have a nice day.

Hello Chuck,

I appreciate the fact that you are looking out for everyone's well
being in regards to this matter. And although I do not wish to begin
a war with words, I do wish to know, how you may only look at a
picture that was taken 10 months ago and believe that the dog is
perfectly healthy? In a photo, you can not see Patella Luxation -
which she does have, nor do I believe you can see Legg-Perthes...which
she could possibly have. I am not a Veterinarian, but I took her
symptoms to the web and that is what I have been able to deduce given
the information available to me.

I do wish to reiterate that I appreciate your post.

Sincerely,
Melissa

Some goof spams a picture to a bunch of inappropriate non-binary
newsgroups claiming it's sick and asking for money. On that alone,
my bets would be on "healthy." (If it was for real, why post the
picture at all if there's nothing to discern from it?)

Then again, maybe you'd like to get together with Chad the GSD...
