NY Times articles on hypoxic chambers for dogs

The NY Times has an article on Jeff King's experiment with hypoxic chambers for sleddogs. I'm not crazy about it with human athletes - it seems to me to get awfully close to blood doping. FWIW, the Iditarod is underway (the winner will probably arrive in Nome tonight) and King's dogs started out strong but started to fade as they neared the coast.
