Ringworm in dogs
My 11 month old boxer picked up ringworm somehow and none of the
medicines the vet has given us have worked. Has anyone had this ailment with their dog and if so, what did you use to get rid of it? And how long did it take? |

The best and least toxic choices for ringworm is a lime-sulfur dip. It stinks, it's messy, it takes a few months but it works. More importantly, dogs run into ringworm spores all the time. If your elder pup is not able to fend them off there might be an underlying problem you need to address. .......I have a dog I found who was on the verge of starving to death. Weekly lime-sulfur dips worked, even on a pup in such a debilitated condition. buglady take out the dog before replying |
