Default the best toy ever

Lola and Manu have a new toy. it's about time, because they were using
their soccer ball as a tug toy, and had torn it into little tiny pieces.
Anyway, last night i decided to take the knobby tires off my mountain bike,
and replace them with something more street-able. i took the used front
tire out in the yard, and offered it to the dogs.
they kind of looked at me funny, then Manu ran up and grabbed it. soon,
they realized that it was the best toy ever. they can play tug with each
other, play tug with me, and try to run with it in their mouths (which makes
them fall on their face).

the SO fears there's something white trash about having two pit bulls
playing with an old tire in our yard.

but if the dogs like it, i guess that's ok with me. :-)

Nope, only white trash if they are playing with a hubcap in your yard ^_^

Hey! Tires make great toys. My Shiba boy loves toys (ya never saw a pup do a
happy dance like he does when he's getting a new toy)....but it always a
challenge to find something that will last longer than 5 minutes. I found a
"tire toy" at Pet Supplies. It's called Tire Biter....Paw Tracks....something
like that. They come in a few sizes...I got the medium one which is about 8" in
diameter. He loves it! Ya might want to check into getting one of those for
your pups if there is wire in the bicycle tire like the other poster mentioned.

trash about having two pit bulls playing

Please ask SO to supply me with a put-down meaning the opposite.
Someone saw my Maltese, grimy and green with algae from swimming,
following me about, and said, "That little dog won't get adopted until
he's groomed."
"Groomed Maltese are so ......" I sputtered to a stop, unable to
think of a suitable term. "Frou-frou"? ???

Just because humans are slow and can't smell or hear
very well doesn't mean they don't possess a primitive
type of intelligence.

frou frou is good. i was going to say "fluffy", and kind of spit it out
like it's a bad word. :-)
