Default Breeder Referal in CT

I don't know this breeder but on the website she has only two litters - both
in 2001 - from the same bitch. Whether or not you approve of consecutive
heat matings they give no chance to assess the quality of the preceding
litter before the next mating.
I would ask what has been happening since the site was last updated. I have
no problem with the bitch not being titled as often toy breed brood bitches
are slightly big for the showring but why that dog : that bitch? & why
repeat the mating?
Health testing has reared it's head -good! The breeder should be willing to
explain all their dogs health results.
I like the suggestion of starting with the health tests & proceeding from
there.

Wow, this is serious stuff.

Do I ask the breeder if they submit to genetic tests for their puppies?? How is
this information obtained and how do you properly ask for it?

Thanks so much.

Diane:
I cannot thank you enough for the advice. I am certainly not the buyer I was a
few days ago.

I will report back on reactions from the breeder.

Thanks again,
Mike
