Dog won't drink !
Has anyone else every had this problem? My (rescued 2 year old) won't drink
water from his dish. I've tried cold water, lukewarm water, BOTTLED water. I've tried changing the dish. He ignores it most of the time and goes outside and eats snow. In the summer he'll drink the dirty pond water. Also, I have 2 cats and I keep their water downstairs, so he'll go down there and drink that, even though it's the same water that's in his dish, next to his food upstairs. I've tried putting a dish of water in another area of the house upstairs, thinking perhaps he doesn't like his water next to his food dish. No Dice! HE still won't drink it. Any suggestions? My dog is a mixed breed...Mostly border collie and lab retriever. Thanks! |

What does it matter, so long as he drinks?
If you deprive him of the other sources, he'll drink from HIS bowl within a day of course. "Jazz" wrote in message ... Has anyone else every had this problem? Some dogs drink more than others.
My guess would be he is not on dried food. If he was that would be a real worry. So if he is on tinned food that has a lot of water in it. Pat. "Jazz" wrote in message ...
