Default Chronic Active Hepatitis

Our dog was just diagnosed with chronic active hepatitis. We've seen that
Hill's Science Diet offers a special food for this condition (Prescription
l/d Diet), but he doesn't seem to like it. He does appear to have an
appetite for "human" food, but we're trying to be very careful of what we
feed him since we don't want to damage his liver any further. Is anyone
familiar with this disease and can anyone recommend foods that we can
prepare for him that are suitable for his condition? Thanks!

try a search at google.com on

"hepatitis" +diet

I think it would be low-fat...it needs to be "simple," in order to give the
liver as little work to do as possible!
