Default one for Shelly...

the SO and i went to the Seattle Kennel Club dog show over the weekend.
while we were there, the SO pointed out the handsome dog herding ducks. he
said, "finally, a GSD that looks healthy and can walk properly!"
i then pointed out that it wasn't a GSD at all. it was a Tervuren. :-)
I'll post a pic as soon as i get them uploaded.

What in the world is a Tervuren?

laugh I was going to ask you if you went to that!
That's where I go to train (for herding). Did ya happen to get to
watch the Aussie pups w/ the ducks, or the other Aussies herding
the ducks over the agility equip?? grin
I'm guessing it was Tamara & her boy Killy. IIRC, he's got a WTCH
(the Australian Shepherd Club's Herding championship--which means
he's gone through all levels of herding ducks, sheep and cattle).
Cool, I'd love to see the photos!

(i hope i spelled it right)

it's a Belgian herding breed, similar in looks and temperament to a working
line GSD. only prettier. :-)
