Hello,
This is my first time posting here and I have a little situation
that maybe someone can shed light on.

I rescued a little long haired terrier female that was going
to be shot if not given away. The people that had her
had a few pit bulls. It was not long after taking her
home that we realized that she was pregnant.

Round about the same time we brought home a female
Welch Corgi. They got along just fine and never once
fought.

The terrier gave birth to a single pup that was much
larger than I had expected a dog her size to have.
The pup was stillborn. I assume that one of the
pits had mated with her.

The little terrier's behaviour since has changed in a
major way. She will make a beeline to the corgi and
attack her if given the chance. We have had to keep
them totally seperate to prevent injury. Even while
seperated she will sniff and hunt for the corgi.

We removed the pup when we saw it was dead and
she has since moved some toys into her sleeping area
that she sleeps on top of. This has gone on for 3 days.

Any light shed upon this situation would be greatly appreciated.
