Default adult dogs and kids

I have two dogs, ages 3 and 1. They have never really been around kids too
much except for passing them on the street while taking a walk. We have
just recently moved and one of my new friends has small kids. Both of my
dogs started barking and acting unfriendly and nervous because of the
presence of the kids. Can anyone help me figure out a way to get my dogs
used to being around kids?
