http://www.vonhena-c.com

I'm drooling over those puppies. (Yes, pug is now fighting with GSD at the
top of my wish list. :}

Leah, you have been reading these groups for a long time now. Based
purely on the web site, what's to drool over? I don't get it.

Ar you sure you want a pug fighting with a GSD? I should think the GSD
would win, and the pug would land at the veterinarian:-)

A) there are a slew of text-book red flags. as Diane pointed
out, you really should be able to evaluate things like that,
after having participated here for several years.

B) i can see no real purpose for their breeding program other
than to create more puppies. there are plenty of dogs in the
world, and if a breeder can't at the *very* least have a
reasonable breeding goal, then i don't see any point in
rewarding them with my money. after all, a breeding goal is
IMO where it should all begin.

C) if you're seriously considering a future GSD, i hope you're
super careful about doing your homework (if you couldn't spot
that these folks are a tarted up puppy mill, then you haven't
even *begun* your research). there are numerous health and
temperament issues to consider, as well as the question of
whether or not the breed is a good match for you personally.
they're pretty intense dogs. though i love them from afar, i
know that they're *way* too much dog from me.
