Ping Lynn K. - liver treats.
They arent even cooked yet and the treats are already a hit. The dogs
are circling the kitchen drooling on the floor. Since coming into the office, they are looking at me then running back into the kitchen to look at the stove. Then back in here like "whats that smell?" dainerra |

and Ill also ask if the smell eventually goes away??? Don't tell me that you're cooking these in a closed house? A BBQ is the best for liver *anything*, but open windows and a class 5 hurricane are required for ventilating indoor liver cooking. ICK!!! Im not sure if it smelled worse raw or cooked. Now Im wondering if I will actually be able to use them - the thought of carrying them in my pocket........ Wrap them with a paper towel and put them inside a zip-loc baggie. Kind of inconvenient, but it works for lamb liver. -- --Matt. Rocky's a Dog. |

Actually, I find the smell of raw liver a thousand times more disguisting. By the time the blender hit the hot soapy water I was thinking "at least it was a cheap blender" My mom actually cooks liver and onions. *shudder* and she thinks it smells good. next time, Ill cook them at her house. Wrap them with a paper towel and put them inside a zip-loc baggie. Kind of inconvenient, but it works for lamb liver. Im going to start scent work with Rayden, so these might be used as Jackpot type treats. Ill probably take some of them to CGC class on Sunday, since its his first time surrended by strange dogs. Ill let you know how they like them. dainerra |
