Four days ago I moved from New Jersey to Germany with my seemingly
well adjusted, semi-well behaved six year old labrador retriever
Henry. His life has been up in the air for the past month sensing that
a change was about to come - moving boxes, etc, three or four days at
my mother's house while I was actually moving and the long flight in
cargo from Philadelphia to Munich.

The problem is that on our second day here we left him for four or
five hours on his own which has never been a problem and he barked the
entire time. Our new neighbors left notes on our door and complained
to our landlord. We realize that it was stupid leaving him, and we
should have realized that he might be upset.

We have tried leaving him in a room alone and he just cries and then
barks now. We are both frustrated.

I rescued this dog. He was trained when I got him. Perhaps I am too
over indulgent but he has been good more or less.

I need advice and help. Please.
