Default Guessing game: What kind of dog is Daphne?

Hi all,

Mixed breed dog in question can be seen in
7 photos in first album at this address:

http://community.webshots.com/user/larlov

My sister is wondering what breeds Daphne
might have sprung from. She was told
"Beagle and Lab" but I doubt it with those ears:

Daphne usually carries her tail curled high over her back.

If you want temperament characteristics as well as physical:

Daphne "WooWoos" more often than she barks.

She's an escape artist, though hotwire below and
above fence + constant comapnionship of two other
dogs and 2 1/2 acres to patrol has turned her into
more of a homebody.

Spayed, now 2 yrs she is pushy and playful but not
aggressive with the two older castrated males, and
maleable/submissive with people. Pet her and she rolls over
on her back with all four legs in the air. You can take a toy
out of her mouth and she wags. Very careful with teeth -
As Sis says: "She takes a dog treat like she's taking Communion."

Otherwise - major hyperdog, lots of running, playing,
pushing the other dogs to play. Loves to go for rides and
it's hard to keep her out of the truck when you open the door.

Greetings
from Laura and Angel in Oslo

I'd vote for German Shepherd somewhere in her recent ancestry, based on
her color and markings, especially the black saddle.

she looks quite pitty in expression and build in some of those pics. Very
cute. the coloration could be from any number of hounds or even gsd.

As Melanie would say: Village Dog.

Is that Australian Shepherd yours?
