Default Do dogs get panic attacks?

Today my dog started shivering, panting, and acting anxious.
I could not see any cause for it.

I held him, brushed him, and tried to distract him.
Eventually he settled down. That took about 30 minutes. I
almost took him to the vet.

I don't where that came from. He is young and in good health.
The weather here is fine, he has plently of water and food,
and there were no outside infuences.

The only thing I can get it is was a panic attack.

It was not good. I am not sure what I will do if it happens
again.
