Default Met a real live RPDer (NADAC)

Well we went NADACing this weekend.
Meet the second person from this news groups I have seen in real-life.

The weather was *lovely* and it was a one ring trial.
Meet Sarah and her dogs - second real live RPDer!

I hadn't done Nadac in ages and I do enjoy it. I had forgotten how long the
opening gambles are (GASP, GASP, GASP)..
I really will miss it though - so nice to be able to work what you need.

The contacts were well-surfaced, but I really should have practiced with the
lower A-frame (Opps!).

The bad beezer puppies got a ton of socialization (Rum the loud girl and
Lucky the flirty boy). They were a lot of nice dogs they coul play with and
I was very happy with their focus when I was asking them for a behavior.
They just were completely unconcerend about anything in their environment.
If I keep dragging them to trials I really want to avoid some of the me
versus environment competeting for Kizzi's attention.
They are good little puppies, except for the occasional screaming.

Couldn't have had better agility weather.. though my dogs liked cloudy
Sunday better than sunny Saturday. CIA is always a fun trial... nice bunch
of people, and as you could probably tell from the silliness & I-dare-you's
in some of the walkthroughs, many of us know each other very well.

You make my third... met Melanie at a NADAC trial last year, Cate several
times at one of the parks where I run my dogs.

I actually recognized Dice first; saw a little bitty Cocker flying around
the ring, thought "that must be Dice!" and a split second later heard you
say "Dice!" :-D After that, I was watching for the other two; easy to do,
'cos I was leash running that class.

Argh. No kidding, at least when you run little dogs.. I ran out of
obstacles to do with Rocsi on Sunday.
Of course, she was in super-speed mode most of the weekend anyhoo; I'm
still stunned by the Open Regular run where she came in almost 27 seconds
under course time. Scary!

The bad beezer puppies got a ton of socialization (Rum the loud girl and

Them are some SERIOUSLY cute Beezer buppies! And I was most impressed with
Rum's focus- I can easily see why she's the keeper.
