Default how do you get cooperation for nail clipping?

My 11 wk old mini schnauzer hates to have her toenails clipped. She doesn't
mind me handling her feet, but as soon as she sees the clippers, she squirms
so much and I can't do the job. She even growled and snapped once. I don't
want to make it a traumatic experience we have to go through every week or
so. She also needs to cooperate for the groomer. Any advice?
