My Dog has a bad nose (not a joke)
Hi,
My old jack russell terrier has been suffering from a very badly blocked up nose recently It has trouble breathing, and has to blow hard. I've tried to unpick it many times, but it keeps blocking up again. I didnt want to take her to the vets because Im worried the vet would want to put her down. Apart from the bad nose, she is in reasonably good shape. Has anyone come across something like this before, or know anything that might help? Andy |

Andrew - whose to say that the vet wouldn't be able to fix the problem and ease your dog's discomfort comfort?Eaither way, the vet doesn't choose to euthanize your dog, you do. -Sharon |

You'll never know until you go, and no one here can diagnose her problem online. Not even a vet. Cate |

Adding a comment... and backing up the recommendation to get your dog to
the vet... Dogs, especially older ones, do develop all sorts of nasties.... polyps in the nose that block breathing and are easily removed, cysts, and tumors. If you are puffed off by your vet saying that it's "nothing", there are certainly other vets..... See one. Jo Wolf Martinez, Georgia |
