Default 1st time dog owner adopted older dog. Have questions.

My darling little girl is a 10-11 yr old cockapoo, was rescued from a
shelter on the day she was due to be euthenized. I adopted her. We
don't know anything about her previous life, even her name, other than
the previous family took her to shelter because she was too old, they
wanted to get a new puppy. I've had her 9 days and we're both bonded
with each other. It doesn't appear she's had any basic training (come,
stop, sit) and we get twisted in the leash. She never lets me know when
she needs to go potty. I just take her out 4 times a day and it happens
then. She had separation anxiety, but have been giving her Bach Flower
Rescue Remedy and Heather, and its gotten much better. Perhaps time has
been helping that as well. My questions are this.

She sleeps a lot, doesn't seem to be interested in too much, I can't
interest her in toys at the pet store. She's a very mellow, sensitive
little girl. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do to figure
out what might be fun for her. I got her a Kong toy and the peanut
butter stuff you squirt into the end of it (because she loves real
peanut butter) but she wasn't interested in the Kong or the Peanut
butter stuff. I got her 2 peanut butter scented/flavored bagel kind of
chew things, not interested. I do take her for 15-20 minute walks.
Sometimes she looks like she would prefer to just go home, other times
she's friskier. I'm checking for signs of arthritic pain because don't
want to over tax her, but not really sure what that would look like when
we're out on our walk. I just want her to have some exercise. Right
now, besides that, the only time she's not sleeping and gets exercise is
when she walks from room to room to be where I am every minute.

She's very sleepy in the morning especially, doesn't want to get up. I
sometimes pick her up and carry her outside to spot I want her to pee in
because when she walks lst thing in the morning, she pee's on my front
porch or sidewalk, sometimes poops there also.

Suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. (P.S. - Have already taken her
to vet for blood work, exam. All looks ok, but she's on antibiotics
from teeth that had to be pulled, and a combination of
steroid/antihistamine she's on that she's slowly coming off of due to
previous flea infestation and skin allergies. Perhaps its the meds that
make her so sedentary?).

Thx,
Robin
