Duncan follow-up
[] We finally heard from the radiologist. Duncan's problems still aren't sufficiently pronounced to make whatever's going on more diagnosable, but disk disease has been moved down the list and DM has been moved up, which isn't great news. It's relatively uncommon in Siberians. The radiologist also confirmed my vet's opinion on Duncan's senior citizenshipness. He's doing okay, though. Yesterday he went in to have his teeth cleaned, which required a general anaesthetic, and when he got home he was pretty woozy. He looked like he wanted to go out the front door, though, so I put a leash on and he staggered out and off the steps, and then he perked up and started dragging me down the road with his gaits perfectly steady. When we got back home he started staggering around like a drunk dog again. Silly manipulative dog. In other news, kiss me, I'm Canadian. My citizenship papers arrived earlier this week. -- Melinda Shore - Software longa, hardware brevis - The Bush administration has created 1,615,000 fewer jobs than promised in their "jobs and growth" package |
