PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME>>>I AM SOOOO DISTRAUGHT
Thank you soooo much for that informative and well written response!!!
When I bought Gypsy the DxR home Honey the terrier and yes u r right the ages where Gypsy 8 months Honey alomst 11 we made sure that BOTH lived outside. If there were 'visits' into the home they were both let in at the same time and both given the same special treatment. Both Jon and I would take turns in petting the 2 dogs during play time...with belly rubs games etc and we would alternate the 2 between us....we Always made sure that each dog got the SAME attention as the other. The only difference was that Honey was already trained up (she was actually a registered 'Pets for Therapy Dog') and was 'on staff' at my local Hospital were I worked for 9 years. So walk time Honey was never on a leash ...but Gypsy was on a leash as she was just a terror to take for a walk. Even with a choke chain on she was oblivious...I must say she was a dopey dog and not very quick to learn basic commands. The other thing I noticed about Gypsy was that she growled at young children...this was a bad sign I guewss from the start, but she was suck a lovable dog we stuck it through with her. The other thing with Gypsy was that no matter how much we walked her, played with her (she would go for 2 long walks a day alone with Jon...and then one shorter walk with Honey and myself..or all 4 of us) she STILL was hperactive and just plain manic. Hope this gives you a bit more insight into the situation Thank you sooo much once again] Stella "kilikini" wrote in message ... (BIG snip) Our condolences, Carmen, Kai, Max, and Alex You have a dog named Kai too? How funny! Which one is it? The BM, the BC or the Dach? When i was growing up we had a Dach named Max as well. My Aussie's name is Kai. Kai in Hawaiian means water. My dog loves the water and has light blue eyes - thus the name. kili |
