Forgot this until I sent my last post...

The kidlets are a sneeze away from taking their first steps: they both
stand unsupported for 20+seconds at a time now. Of course, standing always
ends with losing one's balance. So yesterday, one of the rugrats is
standing, looking eye to eye with Macula, when something happened to make
Macula turn her head. She didn't touch the kidlet, but her moving was
enough to make him totter. As he began to fall forward, he reached out and
grabbed her year: there was force behind it, her head actually dipped as he
went to the ground. He sat and let go, she turned and looked at him,
sniffed him, gave his face a tongue-wash, and calmly walked away. Yet once
again, Macula amazed even me (who expects it of her) with her gentleness to
the rugrats :-)
