Food Change?
This isn't a critical question but one that confuses me a little bit. We
have a 7 month old, 10 pound Toy Poodle that is eating puppy food. We are wondering when to change her over to adult food? Most of the food labels say to do this after one year of age. My vet says that since she is a small breed that this can be done anytime after 6 months. She appears to be getting a little bored with her puppy food (maybe just my imagination) but we were thinking that a change in diet might stimulate her. She is doing great on her present food, very active, beautiful coat and everything so this isn't a problem. We are just curious as to what would be the best time to make the switch. In the past we have always been guilty of letting them go to table food and we are determined not to do this with this little girl.
