Mowing
a love of yardwork doesn't come naturally to me, but i'm reluctantly
learning to enjoy mowing. i usually leave the dogs inside while i mow and let them out as soon as i'm finished. harriet has started to make a habit of rolling around on her back in the freshly mown grass. i haven't any idea why (neither dog rolls in gross stuff, thank the gods!). i think i like it, though. hours later, she still smells like fresh, green grass. it's nice. -- shelly (perfectly foul wench) and elliott & harriet http://home.bluemarble.net/~scouvrette An idea isn't responsible for the people who believe in it. -- Don Marquis "The Sun Dial" |

Especially the first mow of the year! Rocky'n'Friday have done this from Day One, though. Harriet may have developed some sort of fetish. Not that there's anything wrong with that. -- --Matt. They'd be naughty barking fools if I were outside and they had to stay in! Besides, it's a good way for them to get extra exercise. I use a push mower inside the dog-yard, the riding mower won't fit through the gate. I usually throw Coda's frisbee around between bag-dumps. And, I like the way Coda's white-socked feet turn green.
